Roy,

quite simple actually:
open the database which includes the view you want to embed in another database. Open the form in the other database and choose "Create" --> "Embedded Element" --> "View". On the "Insert Embedded view" dialog pick the database in question on the drop down list. I use embedded views from other databases quite often and had no problems so far, as long as the database containing the view in question was recently opened and appears in the "Recent Databases" folder (the folder symbol with a little star on the Bookmark bar).
